a new comet

Sunday Times, 25^th August 1996. reported an object, about 10 miles wide, designated 1996PW. Inert and acting like an asteroid, this was tracked by NASA. It was said to be taking 5000 years to complete an orbit, and demonstrating a tail of ice and gases.
